Showroom Manager - Kitchens & bathrooms

A Showroom Manager for our client is proud to lead a showroom that drives for excellent sales, through exceptional service to customers every time.

As a national plumbers’ merchant, they ensure their customers can always find what they need, either in one of their over 150 stores or online, they aim to be there when their customers need them.

Day to day you’ll be the proud leader of the Kitchens and bathrooms showroom, you’ll have the experience and knowledge to manage and maximise performance; ensuring targets are always hit, if not exceeded.


Apart from your day to day duties, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • You will be selling our clients range or Kitchens and Bathrooms
  • Produce 3D designs for customers using CAD
  • Recommend appropriate products to suit the customer’s needs.
  • As required carry out home visits to survey the room our products are needed for and design solutions based on the customer’s requirements.
  • Achieving monthly margin targets and driving commissionable earnings.
  • Effectively increasing profitable sales opportunities through correct marketing and merchandising in-line with company policy.
  • Always looking for opportunities to enhance the sales and customer experience through continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring up to date knowledge of local competitors so we can continue to offer our customers competitive products and deals.
  • Analysing reports to seek opportunities for sales growth.
  • Generating monthly reports to summarise the showroom performance.
  • Managing the showroom administration to meet company standards and agreed deadlines.
  • Acting as an advocate for the brand.
  • Liaising with suppliers where necessary.
  • Completing administration duties as assigned.
  • Performing any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required.


  • Experience of working in a sales and customer service environment.
  • Experience of working in a showroom e.g. Kitchens, Bathrooms etc.
  • Strong customer service skills and able to build rapport
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, resilient attitude with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
  • Able to work on own initiative, with a “can do” positive outlook even when under pressure
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Confident interacting in person and over the phone.
  • To be tidy and organised with an eye for detail
  • A positive can-do attitude and able to self motivate.
  • Knowledge and experience of using CAD is desired but not essential
