The job holder will work with our client Inbound Shipping Logistics and Supply Chain team supporting their inbound operations and ad hoc analysis.
You'll work with day to day queries and expedite cargo movements in an efficient manner.
A key function of Account Management is to develop the business activities with the customer. Working within the Account Management team the job holder will be expected to identify such opportunities and to work on various development projects.
You'll be required to analyse and resolve operational issues as they occur and work with the Logistics Dept to achieve a long term resolution to the issue.
o Excellent listening and communication skills. Capable of articulating issues and proposed solutions with both internal and external customers, whether face to face, by phone or in writing.
o Able to make formal presentations to the customer.
o Capability to apply structured logic to resolve complex problems
o Sound knowledge of Logistics Process such as Freight Forwarding, Consolidation, and Transportation
o Fast paced and able to respond rapidly to customer needs.
o Strong numerical analysis skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel
