Position Purpose: Ensure parts are shipped to customers on time and in a safe and secure fashion. Pack parts in a suitable manner. Provide advice, troubleshooting, tracking information and assistance to customer sales representatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Pack parts in a suitable way to ensure safe delivery to customer.
Ship orders to customers using courier IT interfaces.
Send parts with all required documentation.
Arrange special deliveries.
Ensure orders are delivered to meet special customer deadlines.
Drop shipments at local courier depot in company van when required.
Send customers shipping confirmation emails.
Liaise with customers regarding special deliveries.
Close orders once shipped.
Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.
Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Track shipments and request credit from couriers if required.
Skills / Knowledge

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy is vital - must be detail oriented
Must be computer literate
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from shipping lead and managers.
Qualifications / experience:
Experience in logistics/dispatch
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Clean driving license
