Your new role
You will be responsible for both imports and exports as well as sales order processing, working within the Customer Services Department. You will also be responsible for record keeping, trouble shooting, problem solving, ensuring that service levels are maintained and legal requirements are met. You will be handling sales orders, arranging transport, liaising with the manufacturing sites world-wide, communicating with both internal and external customers on all aspects related to the orders/transport
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in freight forwarding operations both import and export (global) ideally within a manufacturing environment. Sound knowledge of customs export and import procedures (admin, record keeping, required checks). Good knowledge of customs documentation i.e. Duties/Taxes. You will be able to work as part of a team in a busy office environment, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong IT skills (Excel, Word).
What you'll get in return
You will receive a yearly salary of £20,000 and you will be enrolled in the benefits package provided by this company.
