An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the most secure food manufacturing groups in the UK. The plant in Scunthorpe is one of the groups flagship food processing manufacturing plants of its kind. They continue to expand, based on the reputation they have built for quality delivery of products to all the major multiples they supply to, employing over 3000 people UK wide, they have become an extremely secure employer, in the North of England.
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with electrical bias ideally including 17th edition (but multi-skilled) and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked on PLC systems it would be advantageous. Also able and willing to work on packaging machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other PPM manufacturing processes. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
