My client based just outside Worcester is looking to recruit a SHEQ Coordinator on a Permanent basis.

The position is primarily responsible for H & S activities but the position will also have environmental and quality based tasks.

The main responsibilities include

- Day to day responsibilities for H & S activity at the site
- working with management and staff to ensure conformity with regulatory requirements
- Provide in house training
- writing and implementing risk assessments, procedures and safe systems of work
- assist departmental managers with internal investigations
- produce monthly reports and other statistical analysis of various data
- Undertake spot checks and audits
- improve overall environmental performance of the site
- assist site maintenance department in the running of the site facilities management program
- be responsible for the site Occupational health program
- Chair the monthly SHE meeting
- Assist in quality relates tasks with a particular focus on product safety

As a suitable candidate you will have

- suitable professional qualifications(NEBOSH General certificate or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organisation and communication skills
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing or fleet safety environment is preferable
- Proven experience and competency in providing training
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a can do attitude
- Strong planning and analytical skills

The hours are 0830 -1700, Mon-Fri that may change sue to business needs on the odd occasion. The salary on offer is up to £25,000 DOE and the offer 33 days annual leave incl Bank Holidays.
