Salary: Grade 6 - £18,704 - £20,802 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Homestead, Sapcote, Leicestershire & visiting Leicestershire and the surrounding areas

The Role

emh homes are now seeking a Sheltered Co-ordinator to provide an intensive housing management and support service to older vulnerable tenants with housing related needs, either within a sheltered Housing setting or in their own homes - facilitating their independence and well being.

The ideal candidate

The successful candidate will have experience in housing and working with older people as well as excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening and will have the ability to deal with difficult situations. You will be able to work in a team as well as on your own. The ability to learn new skills and to be flexible is a must and you will have a polite, approachable, reliable and conscientious manner. Must be able to travel between sites as the role covers various locations within the Leicester area.

Qualifications

Educated to GCSE or equivalent level in Maths and English, and ideally an NVQ in Supported Housing / Care
