Shared Services Manager

As part of a centralised finance team, this role is to manage the Shared Services Finance team and is responsible for the effective running of AP, AR, Billings and Cash Management

Client Details

Our client is a fast growing Property, Hospitality and Construction company based in West London. This organisation offers amazing progression and development.

Description

The main responsibilities include:

Managing and developing a team of 6

Transnational process management - setting up processes and systems (SAP)

Drive month end close in conjunction with Group Management Accounts

Review journals, prepayments and accrual accounts

Produce creditor reports on a monthly basis

Ensure inter company balances are reconciled every month

Review VAT reconciliations

Process improvement

Systems upgrade and process improvement

Manage AP and AR function - Negotiating payments terms, credit risk assessment, overseeing the teams responsible for processing

Cash flow - Manage and report on the company's cash position, including working capital

Business partnering with Finance, IT and customers

Profile

The ideal candidate will have

  • Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Team-management background
  • SAP is an advantage
  • Hands-on transactions knowledge, as well as demonstrable knowledge of accounting specifically Management Accountants
  • Advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
