My client is one of the world’s leading sport and entertainment agencies with an ever growing global presence who is looking to transform the finance functions across their UK agencies. As Shared Services Centre (SSC) Manager you will have the integral role of driving the finance agenda through the standardisation and centralisation of processes through a fully embedded shared service centre to drive process efficiency.
You will be a key member of the finance team, reporting to the my clients Group Finance Controller. As Shared Services Centre (SSC) Manager you will have the integral role of driving the finance agenda through the planning, designing and implementing of a centralised shared service centre function from inception for Cash, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll to drive real value in the wider business. You will be a key driver in setting up the new SSC ensuring that the centre provides an excellent, improving and versatile service. Also, you will be responsible for ultimate leadership of the shared service centre and the recruitment and management of individuals for Cash, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll and potentially further finance functions along the shared service centre journey. You will strive to significantly improve process efficiency and strengthening the level of control within the organisation, deliver a quality service to the in-house finance functions within the agencies.
You will be required to develop strong relationships and manage the expectations of key stakeholders in the business and drive improvements in cash flow and working capital management. The right candidate will need to have a key focus on monitoring and delivery of KPI improvement and help ensure financial stewardship by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing both policies and procedures. You will need to challenge the 'norm' in an appropriate manner to ensure continuous improvement across the business.
