As one of our tutors, you`ll be so much more than just a teacher. Forming true partnerships with your students, you`ll go the extra mile to build their confidence, develop their knowledge and skills, and empower them to define and achieve their life goals. In short, you will be a catalyst for profound change.

The main purpose of this post is to provide, teach and offer support for students as part of a WEA Counselling course through a holistic student approach. We are looking for a tutor who can provide inclusive support which encourages independent learning in relation to personal development, empowerment, and resilience and student engagement alongside academic achievement. The successful counselling tutor will prepare course materials, identify students` needs, adapt courses and continually assess the effectiveness of your approach.

Useful but not essential, candidates would have experience of delivering L2 Award in Counselling Skills and have experience of delivering online as well as face to face.

Geographic location is not important but there may be an opportunity for face to face classes in the future.
