Sessional Counsellor (Adult Clients) - Domestic Abuse Charity

Work Relief Charity Recruitment are working with a Domestic Abuse charity who requires a Sessional Counsellor for a Domestic Abuse Agency based in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex.

The primary responsibility of the role is to provide counselling services to adults affected by domestic abuse; specifically, to provide therapeutic support, to adults (male and female, although predominantly female), in their recovery from the effects and impact of domestic abuse.

Essential qualifications include BACP or an equivalent accredited diploma in Psychology and/or Counselling; BACP membership is key.

This role will be working up to 5 hours per week. The hours of work are flexible, but would need to be within the charity's opening hours (9:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday)

This post is currently funded for one year.
