We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Servicing / Compliance coordinator to join our busy maintenance team.

In this role you will coordinate and manage the delivery of efficient servicing programme’s in line with statutory requirements to enable the organisation to remain fully compliant. Working closely with maintenance suppliers you’ll administer, report on and challenge maintenance compliance for over 3600 homes?

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of delivering service and repair maintenance contracts for compliance works in one or more of the following areas: gas & solid fuel, legionella, asbestos, lifts, fire, electrical and renewable heating technologies. You will possess knowledge of landlord servicing regulations and legislation for assets typically found within domestic social housing. You will develop a partnership with contractors, ensuring they understand what is expected of them and to ensure that they deliver against those service standards. Maintaining asset data registers is fundamental to demonstrating and providing business assurance that all properties are compliant. Experience in using and maintaining an asset management database would be advantageous however you will need at least an intermediate knowledge of MS Excel to analyse data and compile reports.

It is essential that you have experience in delivering a high standard of customer service and can work jointly and effectively with other services to build and sustain working relationships with key customers and contractors. You will be good at problem solving / trouble shooting as you will be the go to compliance person within the organisation. You will possess a pro-active nature; take responsibility and ownership for your work ensuring you know what inspections are coming up, speaking to the contractors to get the outcomes and then assessing and planning next steps.
