Salary: £10.48 per hour
Position: Contract role.

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Service Support Assistant to work within a Local Authority based in Leatherhead.

The Service Support Assistant (SSA) supports the work of the Area (or equivalent Countywide Service) Business Support Team by undertaking specific detailed and routine processes. The SSA works collaboratively with team members to provide a high quality and efficient business support service to support the Directorate's overall aim to improve outcomes for children.

Service Support Assistants (SSA) are administrators supporting a group of practitioners who need assistance to relieve them of routine tasks. SSAs perform general office duties, and support specific aspects of the Directorate and will be fully versed in all the procedures of a specific specialism. SSAs play a key role in the provision of a high quality and responsive business support service to operational teams and front-line staff. Continuously applying improvements to increase customer satisfaction and working collaboratively to maintain a consistency of approach across the business support teams.

Service Support Assistants will work together with the Service Support Officer (SSO) to establish objectives and take responsibility for managing a workload, organising and prioritising work to deliver on commitments. Regularly updating the SSO on workload status and raising any potential problems in meeting deadlines. SSAs will work as part of a team and build positive relationships with team members and practitioners, attending work during agreed office hours and be prepared to go the extra mile in meeting people's needs.
