Service Support Analyst

Role: Service Support Analyst

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

£25,000 - £30,000


Key responsibilities:

Providing operational support activities to a plethora of clients including,

  • Provision of customer interface
  • Log & Triage of ITIL workflow
  • Delivery of L1/L2 health checks
  • Implementation of documented fix activities
  • Implementation of standard change requests
  • Reporting of performance against KPI's and OLA's.
  • Escalation into the wider company support model.

Candidates must be highly driven with a strong work ethic with exceptional technical knowledge and ideally possess the following technical skills:

  • 2nd Line support background
  • Strong cloud based solutions knowledge or experience
  • Unix/Linux skills
  • Experience of supporting/developing enterprise Java/J2EE or Microsoft based applications preferably in a 2nd line role
  • Experience with operating systems, database and applications technologies
  • Experience of Windows operating systems and SQL server DB, exchange and active directory
  • Use of event management tools e.g. monitoring and alerting
  • Experience of O/S and application patching
