Service Manager - Learning Disabilities residential Service
On behalf of one of our clients, we are recruiting a Service Manager to lead and manage a residential service in the Bournemouth area of Dorset .
This is a small service and caters for service users with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour. The home is within commutable access of the town and local amenities.
The objective is on fostering greater independence via bespoke person centred support plans and enabling the service users to live inclusive , purposeful and rewarding lives. The ideal Service Manager will have worked with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour previously , either as a Service Manager or Supported Living Manager or as a Deputy Service Manager, House Manager or Team Leader. You will be competent and confident at securing stake holder engagement including forging strong and effective relationships with commissioners .
You will also have the NVQ level 4 or Level 5 in Leadership and Management or be happy to work towards this.
The salary is circa 28k and you will be entitled to a generous holiday allowance , pension, childcare vouchers and a wide range of CPD and career development opportunities.
As Service Manager you will also need to have an excellent knowledge of CQC requirements and standards, strong interpersonal and leadership and management skills and a commitment to providing a quality service within budget requirements.
