Service Manager

Are you an experienced Residential Service Manager?

Do you have the drive to deliver outstanding care to young people?

If the answer is yes then we need you for a Children's Service Manager with a national employer. You will be working with a team of 18 delivering 24 hour care to vulnerable young people with disabilities and may exhibit challenging behaviour.

The salary for this role is £32,270 per annum rising to £35,249.

What will you do?

  • Providing direction - Leading, managed and developing an agreed service or group of services for children, young people and families in line with planned objectives.

  • Achieving results - Implement a range of quality measures, including self evaluation and monitoring frameworks

  • Working with people - Provide leadership to staff in the service which includes addressing and identifying conflict

  • Change Management - Make recommendations for change and development to ensure the effective delivery and development of the service

  • Manage day-to-day operation of service budgets

What we need from you?

  • A relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 9 or prepared to work towards a management qualification at SCQF level 8

  • Experience working with disabilities and/or challenging behaviour

  • Experience of being in a similar position, senior management/management
