Service Manager for the Assessment, Enablement & Care Planning
A fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Service Manager has emerged in Home Counties. This will be a full-time perm position paying a generous annual salary package of £56,431K plus Council benefits
Please note: there has been an additional Market Supplement of £5k added to this role
PURPOSE OF POST:
To manage the Adult Social Care Assessment, and Care Planning Teams and associated budgets, ensuring that the work is delivered to a high standard and within the nationally determined timescales. To assist the Service Director for Social Care in the delivery of service priorities. Promote individualised options for care provision and ensure adults at risk are protected from harm.
To be considered for this exciting position you must:
- Be HCPC registered
- Have a degree in social work
Substantial experience in a relevant social/health care field, including demonstrable experience at a management level
Substantial experience of preparing and managing large and complex budgets and involvement in policy development and planning processes
Manage, plan and organise the work of the section with evidence of strong operational/performance management via workload tracking systems to facilitate personalised outcomes for service users
- Must be a current Service Manager or Team Manager
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- A full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is desirable!
