Service Engineer

Posted 6 February by We Are SSG

Are you interested in pursuing a career as a Service Engineer?

Have you got skills in working with electrical/electronic systems?

Would you be interested in working for an established acoustics company maintaining a range of voice alarm and public address systems in places like offices, large retail spaces, train stations and conference centres?

Then this could be the role for you.

As a Service Engineer you can expect to work nights (not all the time) and on occasion be on call over the weekend as part of a rota, working on sites across the south east. You will be getting your hands dirty in this role servicing and maintaining systems and upgrading products on site. You will be doing things like measuring acoustic output, providing visit reports, and often liaising with the client on their site.

We need you to bring experience and technical knowledge, and ideally good qualifications such as an HNC or HND. You will have skills in working with electrical and/or electronics systems and be 'hands on’. You will be a good communicator, skilled in the basics like maths, hold a UK driving license, and be up for a challenge and want to get to the bottom of a problem and solve it rather than just picking up the phone for help.

A good all-rounder in other words. Someone intelligent accurate and reliable.

In return you will enjoy a good basic salary and an OTE in the order of 50% more. As you progress through the company you can expect to increase your earnings and possibly move into a more client-facing role.

All hand tools will be provided along with a company vehicle to use for all company business.

So do you think you have the skills, experience and tenacity this role requires? Then please submit your CV today and I will get right back to you.

My name is Ben Bridle at bbr talent in Essex and I look forward to hearing from you.
