Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Service Engineer of agricultural machinery, on behalf of our client based in Tingewick, Milton Keynes.  

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of a variety of machinery ideally in the agricultural, commercial vehicle or construction industry is required
  • Ideally have a relevant qualification within the field of Land Based Engineering
  • Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positively satisfying experience
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • A full UK driving licence is required
  • Ability to operate machinery on site for testing purposes

Benefits

  • Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and any overtime worked
  • Holiday entitlement – 24 days per year plus 8 bank holidays
  • Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution

  • Ongoing training as required

Hours

  • Monday - Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm and Friday, 8am – 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch break (basic 39 hour working week)
  • Overtime available (Mon – Sat time and a half, Sunday – double time, bank holiday Monday – double time & day in lieu)
  • You will be required to do some weekend working especially during our peak harvest season
