About the Role
You will have an opportunity to contribute to the Adult Mental Health work programme shaping services at a strategic level as well as supporting individuals on their own journey through specialist provision.
The post shall support service design and improvement of commissioned services as well as policies and procedures for Adult Mental Health. The role supports the development of designated partnerships and service strategies focused on the needs of Mental Health service users within Lincolnshire.
About the Team
This post sits within a very friendly, inclusive and supportive team with great morale. We have weekly catch ups that focus on our wellbeing as well as work. All staff have monthly supervisions and receive regular support from their manager. We have dedicated business support for our service area. The team is based at Orchard House on the Lincoln LCC campus but you will be able to work from home or flexibly at other satellites offices across the county.
We are seeking to appoint someone with the right skills and experience who has empathy, enthusiasm, flexibility and emotional intelligence. A background in either Social Care or Mental Health would be highly beneficial.
You will need to be a resilient, confident and motivated person who is able to establish and build excellent working relationships with a range of professional stakeholders, services and communities in Lincolnshire. You will demonstrate initiative and an ability to make connections across the portfolio of activity happening at any one time.
As well as excellent people and public speaking skills, you will need a sound understanding of:
- The Mental Health Agenda in Lincolnshire
- Mental Health and Wellbeing needs and conditions
- IT, presentation and evidence based reporting skills
- Commercial acumen
You will need these attributes to reliably inform decision making for individuals as well as influencing service and strategy development.
