Core Assets Children’s Services is part of the Core Assets Group. Founded by a foster carer and a social worker over 20 years ago, we are now a leading international provider of statutory and non-statutory services that make a positive and lasting difference to the lives of children, young people and families.

We deliver a range of integrated services for families such as; Intensive Family Support; Emotional Health and Wellbeing interventions; Domestic Abuse Services; Education services; Disability Support

We are looking for a Service Development Manager to lead in continued growth and success across our portfolio of services.

Your role will be to:

  • To support the Director of Business Development in ensuring the continued growth of the Family Support Strand of services (Intensive family support; Domestic Abuse; Emotional Health and Wellbeing)

  • Contribute to the overarching business plan and strategy

  • Lead winning Tender Submissions

  • Compile, execute and continually update Customer Engagement Plans: ensuring positive 'critical friend’ relationships with Local Authorities and other potential customers

  • Maintain a critical, curious mind: using existent service outcome data to evidence our ability to respond to emergent sector needs.

  • Identify gaps/needs in the sector and develop new service delivery models to proactively respond to said needs

  • To keep up to date with research, sector trends, legislative changes and governmental policy to ensure our service offerings remain in the vanguard

Essential Qualities:

  • Previous experience of working in the health/social care sector and/or business development in this sector

  • Experience of building, sustaining and developing relationships with customers/commissioners

  • Experience of analysing customer/commissioner need at a local and strategic level

  • Proven track record of successfully marketing and selling a range of services to customers

  • Proven listening, negotiating and influencing skills.

This is a full time, permanent, homebased role with a salary up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience + car + excellent benefits to include pension scheme, generous holiday allowance and private medical healthcare scheme.
