This is an exciting opportunity for somebody with an interest in IT to step into a Service Desk Analyst position with an opportunity to learn and develop in the IT services. This exciting role will see you supporting the business with answering IT queries, investigating issues and achieving a high level of customer service at all times. The role covers shifts between Monday and Friday, with monthly Saturday shifts.



Job description:

What will I be doing in the role?


In the role as Service Desk Analyst you will;




  • Support all 1st line IT queries




  • Answer calls and logging calls on our ticketing system




  • Provide an efficient and personalised support service to our customers




  • Wherever possible, resolve and close calls at the point of first contact




  • Manage the IT Infrastructure Library issue lifecycle e.g. raising, escalating, incident management etc

  • Experience of customer support
  • An interest within working in the IT industry
  • Excellent communication and people handling skills
  • A willingness to be flexible, especially with regard to shift working
