Service Desk Analyst - Southampton - Permanent - £25,000-£35,000.

This organisation is a well-established and popular company based on the South Coast in Hampshire. Due to a technical refresh, they are now seeking an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join their expanding team.
Your new role
You will provide 2nd line support across the business, developing the core IT functions to improve the systems in which provide the rapid resolution of any issues raised.
You should be prepared to provide the administrative support for both the project and operational IT sectors of the business, with effective management of all current and future IT procedural documentation, including internal updates and information.
You should have a thorough knowledge of PC and printer hardware and software support issues and resolution. This will include the support of Windows 10, MS Office 2013/2016 and Office365, where experience in software installation and support is necessary.
You will be responsible for supporting the IT Operations Manager and Senior Analyst with all aspects of the companies LAN/WAN. This includes the configuration of clients and users, managed through Microsoft AD. You will also deal with remote network access queries and configurations.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have Service Desk Support experience, including the logging, resolution and escalation of any problems reported through the helpdesk. You should also feel comfortable in the physical set up of PC's and remote management thereof using GPOs.
Any knowledge of IT Helpdesk, Citrix, Cisco VoIP, MS SQL Analysis/Reporting services, my SQL Management, VB Script/.net programming, HP Unix and Linux/Apache/PHP technologies would also be considered highly valuable and desirable.
