Service Desk Analyst (1st Line)

We are currently recruiting for a 1st line Service Desk Analyst (multiple roles) to join a fast-growing and innovative tech company in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. As part of an expanding Service Desk Team, you will provide technical support to a mix of internal and external customers, covering technology such as Linux, Unix and MS Windows.

We are looking for a Service Desk Analysts who has already gained commercial experience within a technical support / 1st line role in hardware/desktop or software, preferably working with either MS Windows, Linux, Unix, SQL or Oracle. You will boast excellent customer service skills, experience in taking high-volume calls, managing time critical issues, as well as being enthusiastic about expanding your technical knowledge.

Key skills needed for the Service Desk Analyst (1st line support):

  • Proven experience in a similar tech support role, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial experience supporting either Linux, Unix, MS Windows, SQL or Oracle.
  • Experience in resolving critical technical issues (hardware/desktop or software).
  • An enthusiastic attitude with a keenness to develop your career whilst working alongside a team of high-calibre and likeminded people.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours - these roles will include shift work.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with a passion for technology.

Service Desk Analyst (1st Line)

Salary: £20K - £25k (depending on experience) + £5K shift allowance, plus other benefits.

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
