IT Support Technician - 1st / 2nd Line - Service Desk Analyst - £29,000

Role: 1st / 2nd Line IT Support
Location: Guildford
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 + 24 days holiday

A long-standing institution are looking for a new member to join their team of IT support analysts.

They're looking for a 1st / 2nd line IT support analyst with an all-rounded set of skills in Active Directory, Office365, and Exchange who is able to provide high quality remote, telephone, and deskside support.

The company allows plenty of room for growth into senior roles and allows contact with a wide range of the latest technologies. Along with a huge 24 days standard holiday plus bank holidays, there is an extensive pension scheme that offers a highly competitive rate.

Main Responsibilities: -

  • 1st / 2nd Line IT Support
  • Helpdesk and Remote Support
  • Desktop and Software Support
  • Troubleshooting of Hardware Issues
  • Installing New Hardware and Software
  • Network Support
  • Server Administration

Essential Skills: -

  • Active Directory / Group Policy
  • Exchange / Office365
  • ITIL Framework Familiarity / Certification
  • Exchange Server 2010 / 2013
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Routers, Switches, Firewalls
  • Experience with Ticketing Systems
  • Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016

Desirable Experience: -

  • SharePoint
  • Azure
  • VMware
  • Citrix
  • SCCM
