This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Service Desk Advisor to help deliver even better holidays for customers of our leading travel brands, from within our growing Technology department.

The Role

We are currently recruiting a Service Desk Advisor to join the Technology department on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and professional individual to come aboard and join a dedicated team of professionals at a particularly exciting time!

As a Service Desk Advisor you will be End User facing, acting as the first point of contact for Incidents and Service Requests. You will be responsible for triage, ensuring relevant information is captured and helping diagnose faults, referring to 2nd and 3rd line support teams where appropriate.

You will communicate courteously and effectively with non-IT and IT specialists alike to ensure service level standards are met successfully. Being proactive, you will help identify service affecting trends, using ITIL processes from Incident and Problem Management.

About You

We would expect you to have previous experience within a multi-discipline, medium sized IT Service Desk or similar Service Desk support role in an ITIL environment. You will be enthusiastic with a 'can-do’ attitude with a customer-centric approach.

You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of colleagues and will be a strong and reliable member of a team.
