Service Designer - Insurance, ITIL, Supplier, Contracts, Cloud (AWS / Azure)
Up to £450 per day
6 months initially
I am working on an exclusive basis with an instantly recognisable Insurance firm who require a Service Designer with strong knowledge of Service and Infrastructure Design, experience of liaising with and managing 3rd party suppliers, a good understanding of contracts, knowledge of Cloud (AWS / Azure) concepts, and ITIL certification (Service Design module preferred) to join their expanding Service Architecture team in their South London office.
As Service Designer you will be expected to define, maintain and ensure the integrity and consistency of end to end Technology service management solutions in order to satisfy project and/or programme requirements and align to Service Management strategies, architectures, policies and standards. You will liaise with and manage 3rd party suppliers and also have to manage senior stakeholders internally.
To be considered you must have a strong, demonstrable Service Design background. You must have a good understanding of and experience with supplier contracts, have the working ability to know when to escalate issues, and how to negotiate. You will ultimately need to have a track record of seeing jobs through to conclusion - getting the job done and not just highlight issues for others to resolve. You will be ITIL Certified (Service Design module - ideal).
The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of Cloud (AWS / Azure) concepts and SAAS as well as an infrastructure background. Previous insurance industry experience is preferred.
You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to work autonomously, have a friendly and collaborative attitude to work, and have a desire and passion for wanting to try to improve things (processes etc).
Due to the nature and urgency of the role you must have outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and be available immediately (no more than 2 weeks' notice to serve).
If interested, with the relevant experience, please send a latest CV ASAP.
