Service Coordinator - 4 Month Contract

Berry Recruitment has a newly registered an exceptional opportunity to join our client based in the Abingdon area as a Service Coordinator on a contract basis. Reporting to the service manager you will be managing the day to day activities of the Field Engineers alongside the first point of contact of all customer call outs.

Role:Service Coordinator
Hours:08:30 - 17:00
Salary:£22,000 - £24,000
Duration:4 Months

We are looking for an experienced candidate ideally who is well presented, confident, who will be first point of contact for customers, scheduling and to promote a high level of customer service and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
*Taking call from customers and dealing with a professional manner.
*Scheduling maintenance works, commissioning, return visits and callout actives.
*Assist with invoicing of service and callout and minor works.
*Ensure that data received from handheld device is professional and compliant.
*Provide quotations/estimates for minor works and return visits.
*Raise subcontract orders ensuring highest level standard of work is profit.
*Request equipment for engineers van stock and customer requirements.
*Assist with maintaining service management database.
*Collation and distributions of job to engineers.
*Maintain engineer's attendance records.
*Provide cover for administration.
*Arrange and maintain field engineers training records.
*Assist with managing call out rota with engineering management.
*Generally support the service function maximizing revenue and securing maintenance opportunities.

Candidate Specification:
*Ability to communicate fluently with customers, manufacturers and internal staff.
*To be able to resolve customer related issues.
*Ability to work as a positive team member.
*To be able to prioritise workloads to meet agreed deadlines.
*Technical knowledge of products & parts & be fully competent with service management system.
*Health and safety office H&S induction training as a minimum
