Service Contracts Manager - North of England - from Scottish borders down to Leicestershire

About the role
We have an opportunity for an experienced medical device Service Contracts Manager to join our North of England team, covering from the Scottish borders down to Leicestershire, to maximise both revenue and margin through implementing and managing account management principles and facilitating commercial and operational synergies between Sales and Service operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the implementation of new contract awards and setting up systems for good contract and business management.
  • Develop and update the Key Account Plan for contracts within the region to ensure the business potential is maximised within the contracted accounts
  • Work with the Area Operations Managers and Area Sales Managers to ensure the efficient operation of all contracts in accordance with the SLA
  • Capture and facilitate invoicing of all activity in the contracted accounts and implement RPI’s
  • Complete and communicate all implementation documentation and the account summaries to key stakeholders
  • Support the Area Operations Team regarding implementation and the customer key contract for all implementations
  • Ensure contract performance is maintained, including the delivery of service, management information and invoicing
  • Provide account analysis when requested
  • Develop and implement a regional contract and service business strategy alongside the Sales and Operations Managers
  • Assist in the tender process
  • Use of SAP and Cognos to create reports for the contracted accounts, assisting departments and data assimilation as required
  • Develop opportunities for the expansion of products and services within the account
  • Provision of accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly and annually forecasts for service revenue

Essential Skills or Experience:

  • Must have good commercial/service experience gained within a healthcare environment
  • Must have experience working within a medical technology company
  • An engineering qualification is desirable
  • Team management experience is desirable
  • Must have good analytical and negotiation skills
  • Must have experience of dealing with contract negotiations
  • Must be able to demonstrate interpersonal skills, for example, presentations or demonstrations
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
