You will be working for a long established general practice in the heart of Stockport town centre. The firm offer a range of services to their clients inclusive of Accounts and Audit, Payroll and Tax and they are now looking to appoint an AAT qualified Accounting professional to their Service Charge team following a period of growth.
Your new role
As a Service Charge Accountant you will be working within a team responsible for over 1000 resident management companies. This job will see you manage your own portfolio of clients as well as delegate work to more junior members of staff in the team. You will prepare the service charge accounts for your portfolio using CCH as well as review the work produced by other staff members whilst ensuring deadlines and targets are adhered to and met.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this Service Charge Accountant position, you will be AAT qualified and have experience in preparing accounts previously, ideally service charge accounts. You must be able to work efficiently and effectively as working to deadlines and targets is essential in this role. Client liaison is essential so you must be able to communicate well with clients as well as colleagues.
