SEO Strategist / Account Manager

This is a full-time client facing role based out of our Nottingham offices. This role within Impression bridges the gap between our digital marketing executives and the company directors. Impression’s SEO offering has grown considerably and the team is looking for someone with experience to take ownership of accounts and provide solid digital marketing advice to our clients.

Though there is a team in place, we are also a growing, nimble company so occasionally you may be asked to complete other tasks for the business as appropriate.

As an SEO Strategist, you will be expected to lead on account strategy, provide monthly reporting to clients, create content for clients and third-party sites, as well as building links through a combination of proven and experimental strategies.

As we’re in a fast-moving industry, you will be required to be flexible and adapt as techniques change over time. This is an excellent opportunity to carve out a name for yourself and Impression in an exciting, evolving industry.


  • Content creation, curation and link building

  • Producing proposals

  • Compiling on and off-site reports and recommendations

  • Analysing competitors’ links and activity

  • Keeping the business up-to-date with changing industry trends

  • Monthly reporting


  • Demonstrable technical SEO understanding

  • Experience using a variety of on and off-site SEO tools

  • Experience in off-site link building/link earning

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools


  • Complimentary experience: coding, design, PR

  • Knowledge of multilingual SEO

  • Account management experience

  • Full, clean driving licence
