SEO Executive

The SEO team forms an integral part of the online marketing team - an essential function in helping the ecommerce department achieve the online sales performance and brand positioning for TUI Travel.

What you will be doing

The SEO Executive will report directly into the Senior SEO Executive. The role will involve driving site traffic to meet commercial objectives through the delivery of on-site technical changes, producing qualified traffic to the TUI UK & I and First Choice websites.

The chosen candidate will also be responsible for delivering technical onsite optimisations, reporting and data analysis to build reports for internal use in campaign/project planning. In addition to these responsibilities this role will include working alongside the SEO content team supporting strategic online content marketing campaigns across the business to drive customer acquisition, awareness and retention.

You will have worked in a fast paced highly commercial environment, where creativity and a passion for the customer are at the heart of the business. In order to be considered for this position the ideal candidate will have good understanding of technical SEO from a strategic and tactical perspective, experience with large site architecture, solving craw-ability issues, keyword research, Google analytics or Sitecatalyst and Excel.

What we are looking for
  • Organic search background (client or agency side)
  • An understanding of on-site and off-site SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of performing tasks such as keyword research, meta data recommendations, competitor audits
  • Creating written technical SEO recommendations for internal development teams
  • Experience of SEO Tools e.g. Search Console, Majestic SEO/Ahrefs/Open Explorer, Screaming Frog, Linkdex, Searchmetrics (desirable)
  • Strong Excel skills with some understanding of HTML
  • Be up to date with SEO/Social/Content industry trends
  • Ability to create innovative out of the box ideas and challenge the status quo
  • • A confident communicator, able to present your work to your colleagues
