We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated individual to join our global team as a Sensory Panel Leader, based in Slough.

Job Description

This is a dynamic role for a full-time, temporary contract where the Sensory Panel Leader will be responsible for training and managing the descriptive panel on confectionery products and packaging. Duties of the Panel Leader include: creating the panel schedule to ensure all projects are delivered, organising and executing the training sessions, data analysis and quality checks, panel performance analysis, delivering panellist feedback and reporting. A key function of this role is keeping the panel motivated and engaged in their work, ensuring they deliver quality data. The Panel Leader will work closely with the Sensory Scientists as well as internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time. The Panel Leader is also expected to contribute on panel best practice improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of Sensory evaluation theory and techniques with a Sensory qualification or equivalent sensory experience including statistics related to Sensory data handling. Familiarity with Sensory data collection software and statistics packages would be desirable. Internal training will be given. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their organisational, communication and analytical skills as well as show their ability to work as a team and as an individual. Written and spoken English is essential.
