As a senior developer you will be responsible for completing development tasks to specification in accordance with the software development lifecycle and standards. The chosen candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed technical and operational documentation for support reference and future development.
In addition to your development duties you will be expected to help mentor and support more junior members off staff such as apprentices or graduates to help them move to the next level within their development career. There may also be additional Agile task management duties such as maintaining relevant backlog and feature lists including recording of defects and bugs, this may include co-ordinating daily stand-ups.
You must also perform work responsibilities and respond appropriately to the urgency of situations inside and outside of standard business hours.

*C# ASP.Net ideally using MVC 4, 5
*HTML / HTML 5
*Use of Team Foundation Server's Source Control or SVN Source Control Software
*Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 minimum
*Visual Studio development environments 2013,2015
*Experience of mentoring and supporting team members
*2 years experience in a .NET development role
*Web API and SOAP web services
*Working knowledge of responsive design, ideally using Bootstrap
*Use of Design Patterns following SOLID principles
*Working in an Agile / Scrum environment
*Experience of managing project backlogs
*Exposure to Scrum Master Duties
*Exposure to continuous integration environment and testing practices
On offer is a salary of up to £35,000 dependent on experience plus additional benefits
