Work with the Head of Wealth Management to ensure the ongoing development of the Financial Planning Team, agreeing both approach to strategy delivery and construction of supporting business plans.
Ensure that both the individual and team objectives are aligned with the overall strategic plan.
Deliver operating and financial results against business plans and budgets.
Work with the Financial Planners to develop their business plans (both new business, servicing and individual client development plans).
Create and manage an effective team structure to ensure the Financial Planners work with the administration and paraplanner teams within agreed processes and procedures, keeping non value activities to a minimum.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
A demonstrable track record of delivering business growth through a team of people with significant P&L responsibility and delivery.
Demonstrable leadership and people management skills including performance, management, coaching and motivation and business change.
Strong influencing and commercial negotiation skills combined with exceptional client relationship skills and experience of technique and application.
Advanced financial analysis skills.
Knowledge and experience of identifying and developing professional introducers and utilising contacts to create a long term and consistent referral stream.
Chartered Financial Planner is desirable
Further professional qualifications (or working towards) i.e. Pension qualifications including G60, AF3 or equivalent
CII Regulated Diploma, DipIP, DipFA or equivalent
Current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback within the advisory team;
Commitment to providing high level of customer service;
Experience of Cash Flow Modelling - the production and delivery of cash flow models for clients in support of the individual/family’s holistic financial plan
