Devise and manage the approach to information architecture and end-to-end user experience design across the business ensuring digital products and systems are to the highest design standards and demonstrate excellence in customer experience.
*You will take the lead in developing how the business utilises design and UX methodologies and delivers innovative solutions to meet customer needs
*Use your experience to create an environment where user led design is the cornerstone to development, under-pinned by best practice
*Lead product design projects (web and mobile) across the entire life-cycle from idea to launch, including running research sessions, sketching, user flows, wireframing, developing feature lists, prototyping, hi-fi designs and conducting user testing
*Perform and/or make use of user research including heuristic/competitive analyses, surveys, contextual inquiries and field observations to inform your design strategy
*Own the organisation's digital component library and design toolkit, ensuring consistent use, governance and also refreshing/evolving where you think necessary
*Work closely with the marketing team to evolve and protect the digital side of the brand
*Develop and manage a suite of tools, resources and suppliers necessary to effectively execute user-centred design
*Translate & implement Divisional plans and deliverables to deliver overall Group strategic priorities
*Develop the capability and capacity of team and/or service resources to drive sustained commercial success
*Communicate the team and/or service delivery priorities, motivating and developing others to be high performing
*Own team and/or service delivery priorities, applying specialist expertise to put the customer at the heart of everything and drive a profitable business
*Develop and maintain key external and internal relationships which create value, collaborating to deliver commercial and customer priorities
*Role model the Values, champion diversity and challenge behaviour contrary to the Values
*Identify, define and manage risks associated with team and/or service delivery
*Uphold corporate legal & regulatory responsibilities
*Manage transformation and change activity & harness innovation to create a high performing & sustainable business
*At least 3 years' experience in User Experience role OR a similar related role
*Proven understanding and practical use of User Centred Design
*Experienced in the use of qualitative and quantitative measurement techniques for deriving customer satisfaction e.g. usability testing, focus groups, MVT, A-B testing, Net promoter
*Expert in user experience modelling techniques such as information architecture diagrams, case diagrams, use-case descriptions
*Understanding of code and coding standards and their impact on web structure and design e.g. HTML, JQuery, AJAX, W3C
*A creative and enquiring mind with a persuasive personality and strong relationship builder and communicator at all levels
*Educated to degree standard or professional qualification
