We're looking for a SeniorTreasury Analyst: Collateral Management to join our Treasury team to ensure the property-related covenant requirements of Clarion Housing Group's finance agreements are adhered to at all times.
You'll act as a subject matter expert within the property/security area, providing advice and guidance to ensure that the group meets its security requirements and maximises the usage and value of its property assets.
You'll be tasked with instructing and managing Lenders, Lawyers, Property Valuers and Security Trustees to ensure security/charging exercises are completed on time and to budget. Post completion, you will ensure that accurate records are maintained and compliance requirements are met for all security pools.
You'll ensure charged assets are allocated in the most efficient way between the Group's debt arrangements in respect of Specific Security and Numerically Apportioned Security. You will also ensure a smooth process is in place for the release of properties from charge including supplying the Security Trustee with quarterly reconciliation reports.
Working with the Deeds and Land Management Team, you'll ensure that processes and databases are in place for providing information relating to the Group's charged and uncharged property assets. In particular, property related information must be accurate and up to date for disclosure in the quarterly Asset & Liability Register.
You will manage the annual charging exercise and periodic property valuations as well as ensuring charged assets are allocated between the Group's debt arrangements in respect of Specific Security and Numerically Apportioned Security.
To be successful in this role, you will have a broad understanding of treasury, accounting and basic corporate finance principles. You'll have experience of managing security related matters ideally within the Housing Association sector.
You should have strong IT skills - particularly Excel and the use of pivot tables, as well as a track record of using spreadsheets to accurately analyse and interpret large volumes of data.
You'll also have experience of the conveyancing process and key bank/bond lender security requirements.
