We are looking for 2 Senior Therapeutic Care Workers for a new provider of a Therapeutic Residential Childcare Home.

This is an amazing opportunity for a Senior Support Worker with experience working with young people.

£24,000 - £27,040 per annum dependent on experience inclusive of shift pattern

Permanent - Average 42 Hours per week, Services are 24/7, therefore any successful candidate must be able to work to a pre arranged rolling rota which includes working weekends, bank holidays and waking nights.

The 4 bedded home is located in beautiful rural Cambridgeshire it is due to open in May 2019 in the Huntingdon area. Senior Therapeutic Care Workers will provide care and therapeutic support for girls 8 - 18 years of age in who have experienced childhood trauma and who may be vulnerable to CSE along with other complex needs. Providing therapeutic leadership and training that centres around Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy P.A.C.E. under pinned by Dyadic Development Practice and approach.

We believe that by training, leading & supporting the staff team effectively the best opportunity can be given for the restoration of the traumatised lives of the children and young people who are resident with us.

Essential criteria Senior Therapeutic Care Workers

QCF Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent

Two years’ experience in children and young peoples residential care

Full Driving Licence

Effective verbal and written communication
