Senior Technician (Civil Engineering/ Drainage)

IStructE award winning Civil & Structural Consulting Engineers currently undertaking healthcare, education, leisure, heritage/ conservation, retail & commercial developments across the UK seek to strengthen their Bath office by the appointment of a Senior Technician to their Civils Team

Role:

Working closely with the Design Engineers & Structural Team on projects from £250k to £20M+ value, your role will include:

  • Production of drainage, flood risk, highways & roads layouts in 2D & 3D
  • Producing technical supporting data such as specifications & reports
  • 3D modelling & production of visualisations & animations
  • Assisting engineers in site surveys & inspections
  • Development & support of junior technicians
  • General project administration, drawing control etc

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of drainage design
  • Good knowledge of highways design & flood risk assessments
  • Experience of AutoCAD Civil 3D & WinDes
  • Fully familiar with relevant UK drainage & highways section agreements
  • Ability to management own & others’ workloads
  • Qualified in Civil Engineering
