Key skills - IT Support, software support, ISO 27001, system management, 2nd line support
My client is a specialist software house and consultancy based in Skelmersdale. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Support Engineer , to provide high levels of support for all internal and external customers.
You will setup, configure and maintain software, hardware and networks. You will be working to ISO 27001 security standard and data privacy requirements, so ideally candidates will be familiar with ISO 27001.
Working within an existing team, you will install, configure test and maintain operating systems, software and software management tools and provide 1st and 2nd line support over the phone and via the helpdesk.
The role is extremely diverse, and will see you working across a number of different departments liaising with stakeholders and end users on a day to day basis.
Any candidates with Microsoft accreditations would be desirable, such as MCSA, MCSE, MCPD, MCA or MCSM. Ideally you will have a strong customer facing background, with detailed knowledge of IT systems within a windows environment.
