Senior Technical Business Analyst - Agile Scrum - Leeds, Harrogate (West Yorkshire)

Senior Technical Business Analyst - Agile Scrum - sought by global player at their offices in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Please note some travel between office sites maybe required with this position

Key skills & experience:

-Demonstrable operation as a hands-on BA, ideally in a lead role, and on large scale software delivery projects - at least one of which will have been a complex, enterprise project or programme

-A proven track record of delivering software, ideally using agile methodologies

-Strong stakeholder management

-Knowledge of and practical experience in the various techniques to elicit, analyse and communicate requirements.

-An in-depth understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, ideally within an agile environment

-Contribution to inception and elaboration project activities e.g. the preparation of pre-sales proposals

-Supporting development and testing activities, ideally as part of agile, iteration driven delivery

-Supporting the definition and execution of user acceptance testing

-Supporting "go-live" transition activities

Desirables:

-Familiarity with project management tools and techniques e.g. planning and estimating

-Exposure to the delivery of different project types, such as commercial off the shelf; new development; and enhancements/support

Experience in activities such as:

-Conceptual Data Modelling (modelling the domain)

-Business Requirements Analysis using structured techniques e.g. BPMN

-Logical Data Modelling (modelling the system)

-Systems Requirements Analysis using structured techniques e.g. UML

The role:

As Senior Technical Business Analyst, your there are core sets of responsibilities will include:

-Project Delivery

-Acting as a vital link in the Enterprise Agile delivery methodology, our BAs participate in and often lead agile project delivery activities, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, show and tells, and retrospectives in their daily work routine

-Stakeholder Management

-Application of Analytical Techniques

-Eliciting and Documenting System Functional and Non-Functional Requirements

-Eliciting and Documenting System Data
