This is a 12 month secondment/fixed term contract.

The Childrens, Families and Learning (CFL) Workforce Team are looking for a Senior Administrator to work in County Hall, Kingston. The team is a part of the Children, Families and Learning Business Support Service and works with a full range of CFL teams on their recruitment and workforce planning needs.
This exciting opportunity has arisen in order to support a recruitment project targeted at strengthening our workforce of permanent children's social workers.
In this role you will be working with the Business Support Team Leader and supporting the Social Care Recruitment Lead. This means you will be engaging with hiring managers, Data Operations, Corporate Finance, social care candidates as well as external recruitment agencies to ensure that all recruitment tasks are carried out to tight deadlines, while still providing excellent customer service to our stakeholders.
Your role will encompass a variety of tasks including the organisation of interviews, room bookings, calendar management, meet/greet with candidates, facilitation of case study examinations and some elements of workforce planning and structure reconciliation. Because this role supports the Social Care Recruitment Lead, you will also be expected to assist in setting up meetings and events associated with Surrey's drive to strengthen our Social Care Workforce.
You will need to be highly organised, willing to take responsibility and use initiative, as well as comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and oral communication skills.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a solid background in administration.
- Has experience of working in a busy office environment.
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Is confident, organised and able to implement a proactive approach to your work.
- You must have excellent IT skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
This role will predominantly be based in County Hall, Kingston but there will be also be a requirement to move around the county supporting other colleagues, as well as attending select events outside of the county. As a result it would be preferable, but not essential, that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
