Senior Support Worker

Reporting to the Service Leader, the post holder will be responsible for the leadership of the Support Worker team who deliver personalised support to four individuals both male and female, ranging in age from 45 – 55 years with autism and a learning disability. You will also be ensuring that various activities and plans are completed to high standards and provide general day to day support for the team and the people we support.
With excellent organisational skills, you will need to demonstrate the ability to motivate people to maintain and improve essential skills, move towards independence and support an ethos of positive risk taking.
Ideally at NVQ3, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to manage complex situations in a busy and sometimes demanding service.
