Senior Support Worker
Our client is a national charity providing creative support services across England to people who have a learning disability. They provide a range of services including Supported Living, residential, and short breaks, and they lead the field nationally, in utilising new technology.
Position: Senior Support Worker
Location: Edenbridge, North Kent
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £9.68 - £10.23 per hour (dependent on successful completion of probation and Health and Social Care Diploma/NVQ Level 3)
Benefits: 20 days holiday rising to 25 days after the first year, plus eight customary days and a contributory pension scheme

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Support Worker to join their service based in Edenbridge.
They believe in the principle of 'every moment has potential' and incorporate this in the provision of all their services.
Their support staff are at the forefront of this and on a day to day basis you will ensure that Support Worker colleagues deliver the highest standard of care.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a role model to Support Workers to deliver great support and assist the Registered Cluster Manager to monitor, report and maintain agreed standards. You’ll have the opportunity every day to support people with learning disabilities to live the best life possible.
You will be required to drive our clients vehicles so must hold a full driving licence.
As they provide 24/7 support to some people, you need to be able to work shifts, working varied flexible hours including evenings and weekends (with potential for on-call duties)
Our client is committed to the Investors in People process and have excellent training programmes (with Skills for Care Accreditation). You will be given a comprehensive induction and development programme with support from your local manager and a Learning and Development Specialist.
