Senior Support Worker

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to work in a 5 bedded semi-independent living services based in Stockport. Your role will be to support the young adults with their daily lives as well ensure they health and wellbeing is in order. Co-orindator for the management of the resource as a whole. Managing Service Delivery. To promote normal development of young people. Protect young people from threats to health, welfare and normal development inside and outside of the home environment. Ensure home environment is appropriate and sensitive to needs of young people looked after. Gearing the running of the home to meet the express needs of the young person accommodated. Using the residential community as a means of support and social learning for the young person. Managing the group through procedures, policies and activities engaged in to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for the young person they are responsible for.

Starting salary for the role is £8.50 per hour however there are enhancements for sleep ins. Full time and part time is available.
