Senior Support Engineer - ITILV4- Ecommerce - £45k - Leeds

After a large Merger, a client of mine have some major changed coming in 2021. They need a Senior IT Support engineer to run the Service Desk and mentor the junior Service Desk engineers. They have massive growth plans which means there is a lot of potential to progress and take on more responsibility.

You will be working in an ITIL environment as well as working with ecommerce issues so someone with an understanding of websites is beneficial. There will be 2 junior support engineers who you will be mentoring but their line manager will be the Head of IT. As well as running the service desk you will be providing onsite support and being the point of contact for the Leeds office.

Responsibilities:
running and owning a Service Desk
Mentoring 2 junior engineers
Being the escalation point for anything they can’t handle
Triaging website and app issues for the config or development teams
Providing onsite support (laptops, printers, macs etc)
Understanding and sticking to SLA’s
Liaising with vendors when escalating issues.
