Description

Supply Chain Manager (12 Month Contract), Bracknell: You will be responsible for ensuring the maximum satisfaction of the business customers on product availability by balancing between the Sales demand and the smooth Factory production & logistics operations.

  • As a team leader, deliver the following yourself as well as managing the team
  • Balance customer & sales requirements with factory production & logistics constraints by matching orders from our branches & distributors with factories production plans.
  • Anticipate, analyse, and apply countermeasures on supply problems such as carry over production and ship availability to achieve maximum sales with minimum sales stock and maximum production efficiency, still sustaining customer requirements.
  • Ensure good communication between sales, factory, and logistics from order to delivery for our branches & distributors.
  • Shipping condition requirements for yearly shipping carrier tender process held by
  • Logistics network and operations improvement planning
  • Prepare a presentation to show the status/issues of European Supply Chain for quarterly Business Development Committee meetings
  • Order & Production Allocation Management
  • Collect, consolidate (including error/mistake handling), analyse, adjust, and submit orders from our branches & distributors to the factories.
  • Prepare presentation and manage/chair Sales & Production Meeting with factories.
  • Allocate production capacity plan supplied by factories to our branches and distributors with balancing requirements from branches and distributors by working with Sales department.
  • Supply Issue solving - day to day management of order change request, production plan changes and logistics issue resolution

Profile

You will be a hands on Supply chain Coordinator looking for a step up or chance to team lead/manage one other.

Skills, knowledge, and experience:
* Excellent numerical and logical analytic skills with very high level of accuracy - a logical thinker, with a methodical approach.

* Excel to a minimum of VlookUp and Pivot Table level

* Excellent analysis skills and strong at chopping and dicing information and the analysing
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Presentation and general communication.
* People management skills
* Planning and organisation skills
* Negotiation skills - balance of Win/Win with Branches and Factories
* Supply chain planning knowledge and experience - Good understanding or experience on demand & supply planning, production & logistics processes.

Job Offer

circa £130 per day dependant upon experience plus great package and chance to develop your career in an expanding and exciting business.
