Senior Structural Engineer

Calibre Search is currently working alongside one of the East Midlands most highly regarded consulting engineers, based just north of Nottingham, to help strengthen their Structural Engineering team. The company is centred around "Value Engineering" and thrive on delivering practical engineering solutions on projects from £2 million value to £200 million. You will join them working on Higher and Further Education projects and Student Accommodation, as well as, Commercial and Industrial developments. They are Multi-Disciplinary consultancy, offering a true "one stop shop" solution incorporating; Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering and Transport Planning.

To suit this role, you need to be a "hands on" engineer with a practical outlook on solving client issues and be comfortable taking the lead on projects and coordinating a small team. It is assumed you will have a significant amount of experience working within a consultancy environment and have worked on a wide variety of projects. As you will be slotting into a senior position within the team, you need to have experience working with a senior position of a structural engineering team and have ambitions to continue in such a position. They work on a large variety of projects but some current developments include: a large distribution centre, large primary schools and large apartment blocks. Chartership is not essential but it is assumed you will be in a position to start the process soon or have already started it.
