My client, a large Housing Association based in Devon are seeking a Senior Stock Condition Surveyor on a permanent basis to work in their Regeneration team. The main purpose of the Senior Stock Condition Surveyor is to manage a team of Stock Condition Surveyors who investigate, assess and record the materials, age and condition of the assets.

Working with the Asset Data Manager and the Senior Asset Surveyor, you will develop a cyclical programme of Stock Condition Surveys that inform the Asset Management business plan model and cyclical planned maintenance works programme. In addition, you will perform validation surveys on stock condition surveys; undertake your own stock condition surveys of the properties to a high standard, inspecting the both internal and external components.

To be successful in this role, you must hold an NVQ Level 5 or HND in Building Surveying; have experience of managing a team; experience of performing stock condition surveys and have experience of programme planning, project delivery and cost control in surveying projects and cyclical programmes of work. Being a member of MCIOB or associate RICS is desirable.
