Secondment opportunity planned from September 2021 till March 2022 (dates may vary)

Registered Nurses – Band 6

Further opportunities have arisen for experienced nurses who have excellent communication, organisational and clinical skills and are able to demonstrate a commitment to caring and compassion to patients who would like a new challenge on our additional capacity wards.

The post aims to recruit to Lakeside Wing but there will be opportunity to work in other areas of the organisation such as Heulwen and C7 to gain a wider experience and skills.

Lakeside Wing is a 50 bedded ward which did emerged from the COVID pandemic response but now offers focussed and person centred rehabilitation environment to a wide category of patients including medical and vascular.

You'll be part of a talented multidisciplinary team; working together, sharing expertise and benefiting from excellent professional development opportunities. All focused on doing the best for your patients and being the best you can be, to deliver excellent Nursing care that really stands out.

We welcome applicants from all clinical backgrounds as we want to further diversify the shared knowledge and experience that is on the ward. All applicants must have enhanced clinical experience and decision making skills and be highly motivated and passionate about nursing as well as being a strong Leader.

The position is open to Band 5 and Band 6 Registered Nurses currently working within the UHB, within all Clinical Boards.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
